Based in Thorpe Marriott near Drayton and Taverham, the club is for all ages.

 

The Club is the largest judo club in the Norwich area and probably the second largest junior club in Norfolk.

 

We have attained Bronze Club Mark accreditation and we provide organised opportunities for boys and girls from under 6 years old to play Judo in a safe, supervised and fun environment.

 

The Club is also able to offer Senior Judo for all Grades.

 

Here you will meet people in a friendly club which is very well supported and organised.
The Club is affiliated to the BJA (British Judo Association the national governing body of Judo) Club Number 9041
All our instructors, Club Coaches and volunteers are under a continuous improvement programme, all are CRB checked and where required have a revalidation process with the BJA every year.
We meet on Wednesday evening at 18.00  the first class for Novice starts at 18.15.
We also have an intermediate class and a senior session which starts at 19.30.

Experiente in alte Dojo-uri/Visit in other Dojo/Visita a otro Dojo

Se intampla ca,in viata sa trebuiasca sa te muti intr-un alt oras sau alta tara.Si ,cum ne place un anumit sport ,cautam sala de sport sau terenul de fotbal,depinde ce preferinte avem fiecare.

In cazul meu am cautat o sala de judo.Anul trecut am avut o experienta foarte placuta in Spania,am intalnit judoka de exceptie.Desi eram de aproape o luna in Haro,Spania, si nu vorbeam nici macar un cuvant in limba spaniola,am fost primita foarte bine in grupul lor si ne-am inteles foarte bine ,desi nu prea intelegeam multe cuvinte . In Judo(si cred ca e valabil in fiecare sport) nu e nevoie de translator,pasiunea este de ajuns!

Am fost judoka activa in acel Dojo timp de aproape 7 luni,timp in care am invatat foarte multe de la Sensei Santi Barrasa.#

Timp de 7 luni m-am simtit ca acasa,totul a fost extraordinar!Imi lipsesesc foarte mult acei oameni!

Mutandu-ma in Anglia ,am descoperit ca nu este la fel! Am vizitat un Dojo in Norwich,in speranta ca voi putea continua aici .Nimic nu ma opreste ,legal vorbind,insa nu ma simt bine in acel Dojo,e o atmosfera rece,parca totul se face acolo pentru bani!Poate ma insel ! Am fost surprinsa la sfarsitul antrenamentului,cand Sensei (6 Dan)a iesit din sala fara sa fi salutat sala! E una din ”etichetele” Judo-ului! Sau poate eu sunt mai demodata?!

Acum sunt in cautarea altui Dojo!Am mai gasit unul ,ceva mai aproape de mine,si ,sper sa gasesc un adevarat Sensei !

Adevaratii sensei pe care i-am intalnit pana acum sunt :Gruia Ion(Romania-Baile Herculane),Rus (Romania-Resita), Armegioiu Luca(Romania-Tg.Jiu),Santiago Barrasa (Espania-Haro)

Todo el mundo tiene vida cambiada, por una razón o otro. Necesidad de pasar a otra ciudad o otro payese …Y quando  ne gusta un deporte, tienen que adaptarse, no importa, por lo que esperamos encontrar una sala de entrenamientos o campo de fútbol, dependerá de lo que nos gusta hacer!
En mi caso, me gusta Judo.En ano pasado me fui a España, donde me encuentro con una grandes yudoca y una gran Sensei.Yo fuy bienvenido allí incluso no he hablando mismo idioma! He ganando una experiencia y me sentido allí como en mi casa!Ellos me hacen falta,he tenido un gran tiempo alli!

Ahora estoy en Inglaterra, y me fui a otros Dojo.I pensé que se reunirá gran pueblo … El atmosfere era frío, sin pasión … era como todo se hace por dinero … Mi sorpresa fue, cuando hemos terminado la formación, Sensei (6Dan) no respetan la etiquet de Judo! Él estaba fuera del Dojo, Rei sin hacer!
Ahora espero encontrar otras Dojo!
El gran Sensei ,que he encontro hasta ahora son:Gruia Ion(Romania-Baile Herculane),Rus(Romania-Resita),Armegioiu Luca(Romania-Tg. Jiu) y Santiago Barrasa (Espania-Haro).

Everyone has life change, for one reason or other.And need to move to another city or another country.We have to adapt, it does not matter, so we hope to find a room for entertaining or football field, will depend on what we like to do!In my case, I like Judo.Last years I went to Spain, where I find a great judoca and Sensei.I was a great welcome there even did not speak the same language! I was able to experience and Lott i faithful there as in my house!Now I am in England,and i went in other Dojo.I thought i will meet great people …The atmosfere was cold,no pasion…was like everithing it is for money…My surprise was ,when we finished trainning,Sensei (6Dan)does not respected the etiquet of Judo!He was out of the Dojo without making Rei !Now i look forward to find other Dojo!The great Sensei wich i met until now are:Gruia Ion(Romania-Baile Herculane),Rus(Romania-Resita),Armegioiu Luca(Romania-Tg. Jiu) and Santiago Barrasa (Espania-Haro).
